I am working on my eagle project this Saturday 11/3/07 from 12pm to 4pm.  If you are able to attend during any time please email me (we will be meeting in the parking lot).  I can arrange for transportation if it is an issue.  People helping are suggested to bring work gloves, tree clippers, and if an adult could bring a gas chainsaw.  Wear warm clothes!  You can Google the following address 2711 E. Drahner Rd. Oxford, Michigan 48370.  Any help is greatly appreciated and if you haven’t already subscribed to my blog you can sign up to receive updates every time I add something new.

Sunday October 28, 2007 was the first day working on my project.  Thank you to Mr. Schuster, Karl S, Mrs. Landyut, and Jake L for helping.  We accomplished clearing the beginning of the trail.  When we were first walking down to the trail we walked right past it.  Now that it is cleared you cannot miss it.  The next task is to clear more trail and place trail marker posts.   Stay tuned for the date, it will be posted soon.

My eagle project consists of clearing, making, and marking a 1/4 mile trail to a lake.  At the end of the trail there will be a bench facing the lake.  Trail markers will be placed on trees and the bench area will be wood chipped.  The trail is at St. Benedict Monastery in Oxford.
