T125 Parents:
On behalf of the Troop Committee, we would like to request that you attend the Troop meeting on Tuesday April 15th . . . 7:30 at the Community House.
As many of you know, we’d typically send out a “state of the troop” letter about this time each year. The “state of the troop” continues to be very healthy, but we’d like to talk to you face to face about some of the key topics that we just don’t get much interaction on with a letter.
Specifically, we hope to address summer camp 2007 (particularly for the newer families), High Adventure opportunities (more for the families of older scouts, but will be an interesting "preview" for newer people), and aspects of how you might participate in how the Troop runs. We’ve been blessed with a very stable set of capable adult leaders, but want to engage more of you in roles that help us run the troop. These will vary from pretty simple things that might take advantage of a particular talent or skill you have . . . . to our more “traditional” uniformed leader and committee roles. In addition, we’d like to talk with you about “Friends of Scouting” – effectively doing our part to help Clinton Valley Council help local troops.
And we want to answer your questions and hear your suggestions about what you want from the Troop. Hope to see all of you on the 15th (unless you are urgently finishing your 1040 form)! We won’t keep you more than an hour!
