  • Found: Timberland Size 11 Boots

    Mr. Balmes found a nice pair of Timberland boots, size 11, in a shopping bag at Innatech after the Polar Bear campout. Balmes is a size 11 himself and has grown attached to the boots, but finally decided to mention his find after reciting the Scout Law.

    You want the boots back? Call Mr. Balmes -- his number is on the roster. Thanks!

  • Eagle Project - Help Needed Again

    I asked for some volunteers at the meeting last night and several raised their hands but no one got with me after the meeting. I am looking for 1-2 scouts on both this Friday and Saturday, 3/21 & 22, to sand and polyurethane my project. Total time each day should take only 1.5 - 2 hours. The time is flexible since we are off so call and let me know what time is best for you if you can help. We can probably work something out. Thanks. Nick S.

  • Eagle project Update

    I want to thanks all you guys that helped Saturday. The cart is fully put together now except for the hardware. It looks great! Mike M. is coming over today to put on the first coat of polyurethane. I need two boys to help me on Friday to sand and poly - let me know what time you can make it since we don't have school - and two more on Saturday for the last coat. Let me know. Thanks again. Nick S.

  • March 18th Meeting - Communication Merit Badge

    Those needing Communication Merit Badge (Eagle required) should complete the following items before tomorrows meeting:

    1)  Write a list of at least 10 different ways to communicate (email, texting, etc.);       2) Bring a product or object from home (You will use this to present a commercial about it);

     3) Write a list of 3 adults you know that you may want to interview (not a scout leader or parent)

  • AT Warm Up Hikes (High Adventure)

    Scouts (& Leaders) going on the Maryland AT Hike must plan on going on one shake down hike and one warm-up hike. The Holaka hike on the 8th counts.  We have planned hikes on Sunday, March 16th at 1 PM  (Innatech by trailer), Friday, March 21 at 6 PM (Innatech) and Saturday March 22nd at the Community House. Younger scouts may come along without packs if they need their 5 mile hike. I recommend double socks (silk & wool) for any new boots. New boots should have at least 25 miles on them before we leave for the AT.
